A Powerful Learning Experience

Schools from across Wyoming are participating in this proven blended-learning program where fifth grade students learn about personal finance and vital elements of a free enterprise economy. Teachers collaborate closely with our experienced financial literacy educator to teach classroom-based lessons. The program culminates with a day where students apply their knowledge in Young AmeriTowne®: WyoTowne, and run their own town for a day. Students gain lifelong workplace readiness and financial management skills. In Young AmeriTowne®: WyoTowne, students experience a complete economy; business transactions, profit and loss, payroll, insurance premiums, in addition to town government and civics.

Our Vision is that youth of every background will gain financial skills, workplace experience and understanding of a free enterprise economy. Through a combination of hands-on learning and classroom lessons, students will be prepared to manage their money wisely to be responsible, productive citizens.
